My mother bought one of these (the same unit) in about 1956-1957. She used it for us, her kids until I was about 35 years old when I got it passed to me. I use it regularly and the only thing I have had to do with it is replace the blade once. It does a great job of getting the juice out without the pulp. I also own a juiceman juicer. This machine is obviously in a different class. I LOVE IT...
