It makes a good, somewhat pulpy juice. It doesn't extract the way some metal motorized juicers do, but it also doesn't overheat the juice. The spout is really cheap and there is a piece that broke the first day so it no longer tips up or down. Takes a while to juice a 6 oz glass as you are supposed to juice 15 s on and 15 s off, and one 15 s round isn't enough to do a whole orange half. It also requires some hand technique, i.e. you have to smush the orange side to side to get it all out. That said, it works!
