Reviewer: Ted Bilek from WIAbout 18 years ago we purchased an Excalibur dehydrator (ED-700), a predecessor of the ED-2400. Ours is a wonderful little machine and it has served us well. It has given us far better performance than we had ever expected. It survived a move over to New Zealand and 14 years of running off 220 volts, 50 HZ (stepped down to 120 volts through a transformer). It continues to run well. The only maintenance I've had to give it is a single oiling of the fan bearings after about 10 years. I'd buy another one if this one ever died.
