Breakage when juicing carrots July 12, 2010

The carrots should be cut as small as feasible to avoid splitting the strainer. Mine split. And I am from outside US. The cogwheel on the Bowl broke one of it's gear due to the split because the spinning brush was obstructed from spinning. Hopefully they will send me parts. Regret not getting the Omega which I think would have provided me better service.
