I gave it two stars mostly because the controls are completely obnoxious. The pitcher shape seems to allow food to get hung up more easily than it should. It is powerful, but also smells like burning plastic when it's running. I'm disappointed overall and had much better experience with the ninja I found at goodwill for $11 which lasted ten years.
