I used this juicer for 6 months and I had the same cracking problem with the basket when juicing leafy greens. The pulp that emits from this juicer literally took me 7-8 minutes to strain to get the pulp out....I gave up and bought a Green Star and it's the best of the 3 juicers I've owned over the past 5 years! I strain for about 10 seconds on the Green Star Elite Juicer.
