    Disappointing August 27, 2002
Reviewer: Hansen from Southeast MichiganToday I returned my third Metrokane citrus juicer. I started with their small Mighty OJ which did not extract well. I gradauated to the $65 press. It was hard to clean and also inefficient. Then I tried the restaurant model. At over $100, it should be good. Right? Within 3 days of HOME use, it was acting like it was 50yrs old. I opened up the mechanism and discovered that the driver gear was cheap cast pot-metal and that the housing was already full of metal chips. Let's see, maybe 20 oranges juiced and the product is practically dead! That makes it cost much more to juice the orange than to buy it! Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Metrokane juicers. Maybe Hamilton Beach or Orangex instead. We'll see.
