I got one for Christmas and had been using the ole' 10-speed blender up till then.The design is very good and the spigot is a welcome addition, as you can keep it running on low and it "powers out" even the thickest concoctions. In fact, to do a quick clean I fill with hot soapy water and power it thru then follow with alot of hot water.But it TOTALY dismantles to get at every part for a serious cleaning.
So far, so good.
