I love this juicer. I did extensive research before deciding on buying it (my first juicer!) and it hasn't disappointed me yet. The juicer does NOT heat up, break down within 2 weeks, or yield pulpy juice on the produce they recommend, contrary to some reviews here (eg. Pears are not recommended--too soft--and the pulp will go through, but not for carrots or apples.) I've had it for 4 months now and am very satisfied. However, it does take 30 min. from preparing my fruits/vegs to clean up so you have to be willing to invest in some time. Otherwise, it's a fabulous machine.
